Crufts is back again this year as many dogs prepare to show off their skills at the popular dog show.

As dog owners hope their dogs will impress, you might be wondering who won the competition in 2023.

The Best in Show competition started in 1928 and a Greyhound Primley Sceptre became the first champion, the Crufts website explains.

The Best in Show competition was temporarily paused between 1940 and 1947 due to World War II but it returned and still takes place today, remaining the most prestigious award in dog showing, Crufts explains.
